Privacy is a great to have on the internet, it is having privacy from other people and websites that you don't them to know you or personal information. Awareness about privacy is growing with the increasing amount of people using the internet. If you don't have privacy, many things could go wrong. Just by following a few steps can help a lot.

If you want only selected people to see your blog, you can have it only accessible by a password. Online Social networks build connections and relationships, though you must be careful. They store information remotely. It is very important to not let people see things you don't want them to on social networks like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc. Facebook keeps your deleted photos for a long time. Delete does not mean delete.
You don't just have to be careful on social networks, but a lot of things on the internet. Be aware of emails that ask you to update information; they are most likely looking to steal your personal information. You should not respond to these.[1]
